I have a regular route that I travel along to visit my mother's house. Along the way is a patch of poppies. It's located right on the roadside. They usually bloom in late May, or early June. And they always stop me in my tracks. I love their sudden beauty in such an unexpected place. So, each year I stop and stand among them to capture the gorgeous poppy energy. A happy time and place.
A true Creativemxx. Sometimes I'm just an observer, sometimes the curator, sometimes gathering inspiration for a new show.
In March 2015 I visited Cuba with a group of educators from Norwalk Community College.
I write, photograph and design a weekly newsletter for micro-artisan bakery, Wave Hill Breads.
